The Two Year Film Make Up and Hair Academy Course and Nine Month Professional Make Up and Hair Course are validated by the QCA and students will leave with either a BTEC Certificate or Diploma or ITEC Qualification.

The cinema, television and fashion industry has changed over the years, now makeup artists are required to be competent in both modern and period makeup and hairdressing.

That is why here at Brushstroke we work closely with cinema and television makeup designers and fashion makeup artists to tailor our courses to industry requirements.

The future of television is HDTV (High Definition) and 3D. We at Brushstroke train our students (on the 2 year, 9 month combined, 3 month and 5 month Advanced High Fashion courses) and industry professionals in HDTV makeup. Our students have also gained valuable experience working on various productions, shot in HDTV (see students' achievements).

On completing our courses you can go on to work in fashion, cinema, television, commercials, music videos, corporate films, theatre or opera.
