Brushstroke run six main courses catering for the different needs of students for training:
Two Year Film Makeup & Hair Training Academy
(Being the most comprehensive of all our courses)
BTEC Certificate or Diploma
A course of 6 terms duration that trains students the high standards of makeup and hair artistry techniques that are expected within the film industry.
Third Year Film Makeup and Hair Academy
Optional continuation of the Two Year Course
Nine Month Professional Media Makeup & Hair Course
ITEC Qualification
This course is combined of the Media and High Definition Fashion and also contains hair cutting, hair extensions and airbrushing. It is a one year duration without academically structured term times.
Four Month Media Makeup and Hair Course
A Media makeup course of intensive tutoring is designed to input as much theoretical information as possible, while offering complete hands-on training, to instil confidence in any situation.
Five Month Advanced High Definition Fashion Makeup & Hair Course
This Five Month Advanced High Definition Fashion course is designed for those who want a career in High Fashion, Catwalk, Commercial Industry and music videos.
Three Month High Definition Fashion Makeup and Hair Course
An intensive full-time course with an evening option aimed at perfecting the techniques required to produce High Definition Fashion, photographic and catwalk makeup.
We also run two shorter courses:
Three Week Intensive Haircutting & Styling Course
A course designed to teach students all aspects of women's hair cutting, men's hairdressing and barbering - for those intending to work in the television and film industry as hair designers as well as makeup artists.
Air Brushing (1 Week)
This course enables students to gain experience in air brushing.
