Three Week Intensive
Haircutting and Styling
This three-week media hair course is designed to teach students all aspects of women's hair cutting, men's hairdressing and barbering. The course is for those intending to work in the television and film industry as hair designers as well as make-up. Normally anyone wishing to pursue such a career would require an intensive training course such as this, experience within a salon and further training in a media hair environment.
It is also becoming more of a requirement within the new National Vocational standards. During the 3 weeks students will be training on blocks, each other and models (depending on availability).
A day generally consists of:
AM - Demonstration, in which the students should take notes.
PM - Practical hands-on.
